I need your help
I have gotten some mixed feedback recently about the new focus checker script. It should be transperant to most members and only create a problem if a member submits a bad site. There are some mebers though that are having some issues though with good sites not making it through.
Have you had any problems with it? How do you feel about the checker? I would realy like to hear what everyone thinks about this so we can make sure everyone is getting what they want. (well at least try to)
While on the topic of Focus, how do you feel about the focus loyalty points? Please share any thoughts you may have by posting below so we can discuss it. If you would rather not post your thoughts here just send me an email at admin@maxtrafficpro.com
 Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
I have added a new members user manual at http://maxtrafficpro.com/manual.pdf This is just a basic run through of the site and its features and shows how everything works. I have also added this link to the welcome email new members get after joining. Let me know if you think anything in it should be updated.
 Have a great week. 🙂

Hi William: Personally I appreciate the inclusion of Focus Loyalty Points. It secures and protects all of the “good” and honest advertisers around us. As well, we gain from it as a bonus to what we reap from surfing. Please keep this going!
Your addition of a manual is also a great idea!! I am fairly new to on-line business and any advice or direction sure would have eased my transition. Even though I’ve already established my account at MTP I plan to go through the manual, just to make sure I’m going in the right direction.
Keep up the good work Sir, and thank you for the chance of passing along my thoughts.

Hi William, Ok, I’m not sure I know what a focus point is, but if it is like the picture you have to click on, I think it is a good thing, because it does make a member pay attention to the site. It also helps to keep auto surfing software off the site, which is a great thing. You know it is a real person looking. I’m also not sure that I have ever received focus loyalty points. If I did, I did not realize it, as I have not seen any indication that I have won anything. I hope I can see them sometime. Just keep doing what you are doing now, and I think you will stay one of the top surfs. You keep your surf clean and tidy, no trojans or viruses. That is one thing that sets you apart from many of the surfs now days. Thank you for allowing me to be a member of your great program.
Hi
I have had a problem with the checker it will not accept some of my site urls like this one “http://SurfingJunky.com?r=59777”
So far this is the only one there are other exchanges that use this kind of url and they do not work too, right now I just put them in to pageswril and then put that one in to MTP,so it is all good now.
Keep up the good work.

Hi
The Focus checker is a great way to keep garbage out of the traffic exchange. Also, if a url fails the test and is a good url it can be manually added as a good url. The Focus points are a good bonus for MaxTrafficPro. Also, I might add that MaxTrafficPro has a very high upgrade rate when compared to other exchanges. Means more commikssions in my Pocket.

Hi William.
I like the idea of Focus Loyalty Points.
As far as I know Focus Loyalty Points will protect you the surfer from all known virus and Trojan attacks, remove all those site and pages that run scripts in the background slowing down the timers and generally upsetting your surfing experience.
Personally I uses a couple advertisment sites that uses IFRAME, and FLP decline IFRAME at the moment. I investigate my advertisers in the same way I figure they do with me. When I decide to present them it’s because I find them to be representable for my website content and also that this is a legitime company I am offering to my visitors.
In some way I find FLP working against it purpose at the moment, but I guess that’s the prize we have to pay when there are unfortunally to many surfers that tries to cheat the system. I have already myself started to look into alternatives to IFRAME, so I still can promote my website on excellent TS exhanges like MTP.
In the beginning I have to admit I was a little ticked about it, but now I see the purpose of it. So I am supporting your usage of FLP.
Cheers.. 😉
Everything is perfect here boss!
I only had one site, changed it yesterday and had no problem at all. I like focus points and have used them to purchase banner impressions in the past.
Thanks for asking.
I like the idea of the Focus Checker, to keep members from cheating the system, prevents the spread of virus and it will keep your hit exchange clean. Just like others have suggested, there are ways to have your clean url included in the rotation and they have to learn to live with it.
With regards to the loyalty points, I don’t accumulate them when I get them as it takes forever for them to rack up and redeem them as it’s not worth it anymore, for me at least to waste precious seconds to claim those points.
I believe you are doing all the right thing William, to make Maxtraffic Pro a solid traffic exchange that will be around for years to come. Just keep those garbage sites out, keep the clean sites in.
Thanks,
Paul Penafiel
William:
I’ve gotten exactly one site past the checker. The rest of the time, I get PHP errors, SQL errors, server timeouts, “too many redirects” (when there wasn’t a SINGLE redirect in the site I’d submitted), and various other errors I don’t remember anymore. I’ve had to give up using sites using the checker. While it’s great in theory, it’s clearly not ready for prime time yet. Meanwhile, I rely on ClickEvolution’s site-checking software when I need to check a site.
Hi William. I have no problem whatsoever about the checker. Every site I have submitted has passed. If others are having problems, then maybe they should check how they are submitting them again, or maybe the sites need to be revised. And now that I have the manual, I will be able to sign up for my Loyalty as well. It should be standard that if you are a loyal member you should reap a benefit. But so far only You have come up with this IDEA> THANK YOU
Thank’s for all the feedback. I have gotten a lot of great responses thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts.
William,
I’ve had a few problems with the focus checker. I pm’d you about 1 but you never wrote back. Web-Biz-Solutions uses a banner exchange on it’s referral and splash pages. The banner exchange uses a 468 by 78 iframe since it is actualy 2 banner exchanges in 1. The first is the members rotating banner and the 2nd is a link to MMABE with the host members referal id. Not a 0 iframe. Not all I frames are bad only those 5 and below are bad. So the 468-78 iframe should show as a good iframe if focus would have set their checker up correctly. As it is now set all WBS pages show up as being bad and this is wrong from a traffic exchange with over 26,000 members.
Also I have come across 3 sites on exchanges using the focus checker that have broken the frames, went to a zapmeta search site who then did a browser hijack and unleased a virus. Today was the first day that happen on exchanges that use the focus checker so it wasn’t a pre existing site and focus let it get through on 3 different sites so the focus checker is not that reliable yet.
I think over time when the focus checker is programmed right to not turn down sites with good iframes and to stop all framebreakers that it will be a useful tool but right now as in any new program it needs to get the bugs out of it before it can be trusted. I hope you and the other exchanges will manualy approve Web-Biz-Solution referral and splash pages for now.
As for the focus loyality points I am all for them and love getting my points!
I had had no problems, works just fine for me.. 🙂
Hi Idon’t like it to stop to log in ..so i don’t focus 4 is a waste of time.
Hi Joev
You only have to log in once and then it will keep you logged in while you surf. The link will open in a new window and should not interupt your surfing.
