Some Changes are being Made

We have had the dynamic surf ratio going for a few months now and we have been monitoring it closely. Due to our testing though it is going to be removed.

It is a great feature and those that surf regularly have been getting some great extra bonus’s, but those that don’t surf as often are not getting nearly as much benifit from it.

This is starting to show as members that surf often have been surfing even more and those that do not surf daily are not surfing as often.

We pride ourselves on the perfect mix of unique and non unique traffic and feel as if it has helped our members get the best results possible from their credits.

With some surfing more often and others not as often it is starting to throw that ballance off, and some members are not getting the same results as they have in the past.

Therefore we are going to be going back to a more static type of surf ratio.

The ratio for free members will go back from being 4:1 to 3:1 and the MAXTRAFFICPRO letters will be going away.

I know many of you have worked hard to get all your letters to  yellow or green to get the extra credits while you surf so we will not be getting rid of it completely all at once.

On this Wednesday 17 Oct,  we will be turning off the ability to find any new letters.  Once this is turned off you will not be able to find any new letters but you will keep the ones you currently do have.

As you know you keep those letters by surfing a minimum of 25 sites each day, and we will allow anyone that still has these upgraded ratios keep them for as long as they keep surfing the minimum.

Once everyone is no longer all yellow or green and no one is getting the increased ratios the rest of the MAXTRAFFICPRO letters will be removed and the original letter hunt we had will be re implemented.

We are also working on adding some new features that will continue to award those that surf more often but still be able to award those that don’t surf as often when they do.

We are also going to be revamping our whole downline builder, there have been some changes made to the programs that are in there already so make sure you check it and add your affiliate id for those programs.

The downline builder in the future is going to be used much more and be tailored more for each individual, I don’t want to spill the beans just yet though, so keep an eye out for some changes coming soon.

I had several members ask about adding the tracking code for ProTrackerPlus to MTP. It has now been added so if you are using your ProTrackerPlus link to promote maxtrafficpro you can now track it all the way through to sign up.

If your not sure how this works you can learn more about it at ProTrackerPlus
I personally have not tested their services since I am very satisfied with using HitsConnect ( you can join with a 30% discount here )  but know that Dan and Mark would only release a quality product. If you need a tracking service and do not wish to use hits connect you may want to check them out.

Thats all for now I will keep you up to date on the changes as they happen.

 Have a great week,
William Brant

Birthday Bash Hump Day

The Birthday Bash referral contest is now half way over. There is still some time left to get into the top ten but don’t wait too long as the contest will be over before you know it.

I’m not trying to put pressure on anyone, but if you look at the current contest standings below you will see there is an old retired guy on the list. I love Tony he is great but lets see if we can get him off the list so he can go enjoy his retirement and not have to worry about where he is in the contest.

There is some stiff competition out there and I would like to thank everyone for putting their ads out. No matter who wins this contest we all make out in the end, the more members we have the more people there are to see your sites.

You will notice a big difference between the official results below and those on the contest page at MTP, as a reminder referrals only count towards the contest after they have surfed a minimum of ten pages. With that said here are the current contest standings

1st Place –  Marina Afanasyeva   26

2nd Place – Pedro Sardinha         17

3rd Place -  Sean DeHoney         16

4th Place  – Jorge Alberto            12

5th Place – Dallasscout and Tony Tezac tied at 7
6th Place –  Pam Jones,  Carroll Land, and Tom Krueger are tied at 5

And the rest of the top ten is up for grabs, there are too many members to list with 4, 3, 2, or one refferal right now.  It will be interesting to see how this develops over the next week.

Birthday Bash Contest Day One

Well we are off to a good start; the current contest positions are below. As you can see there is still some openings in the top ten but a lot can happen in two weeks. Keep putting your MTP links out there and you just may be one of the prizewinners.

I have been asked the same two questions since last nights email so I thought I would address them here.

The first question is about prize number two. An Apprentice membership ate AdsenseRealEstate.  The question being why would a trafficexchange owner suggest using an adsense related product?

If you don’t already know let me clarify one thing adsense and traffic exchanges don’t mix.  If you have adsense on your pages in the traffic exchanges remove them now before it is too late. Goggle frowns on getting traffic to your sites in anyway than organically and will cancel your account (without paying you) if they see clicks coming from pages that are rotated within traffic exchanges.

So then, why as a traffic exchange owner would I not only recommend A.R.E but offer a membership there as a prize?  The answer to that is simple. It’s because of the owners of A.R.E Pat Lovell and Jon Atwood. Perhaps you’ve heard of them?

Both of these guys are traffic exchange owners but more importantly they know adsense. They know how to get organic traffic to their sites, they know what works and what doesn’t and they take the time to teach you everything that you are willing to learn.

What they teach is far more beneficial then the sites they will custom design for you but when you pair those two factors together you cannot lose.

Even though these two are experts at creating organic traffic to their sites they still use traffic exchanges. The reason is traffic exchanges work and they work well if you are using them correctly. Something’s work better in traffic exchanges than with organic traffic.  But using both of these traffic sources correctly can explode your business.

Learning what Jon and Pat have to offer is invaluable information and that is why a membership to A.R.E is one of the top prizes.

The second question is about Splash Points. There seems to be some confusion on exactly what they are.

Splash Points are reward points. They are the evolution of what was once focus points. I have spoken with Richard Taylor quite a bit on the topic of splash points and his vision for what they are and will be.

The site is still in its infancy and it may not be clear though what those visions are unless you have been told about it.

Splash points are basicly an online currency of sorts.  There are two types of memberships a member’s account and a merchant’s account. The majority of users are going to be member accounts these are the free accounts you need to register in order to collect and use splash points.

As a splash points member you can receive, purchase or trade splashpoints. You can use these points to purchase products from the merchants and a number of other things from within the site.

The merchants are those members that have an online storefront that will sell products in exchange for splash points. Currently there are 25 merchants within the system that you can spend your points with. This will grow in the future but it has been limited to us 25 merchants for the time being until everything is up and running and the merchant shops are fully functioning.

The merchant shops are like paypal shops. Have you ever taken a look at the paypal shops when you were there? It lists stores and vendors that accept paypal as a payment option.

The Splashpoints shop will be similar where; you can browse merchants by category or other search criteria to find a product that you are looking for.

Merchants are also able to award splash points to their customers. This is a way of saying thank you for being a customer. At maxtrafficpro and CarnivalClicks we award splash points while surfing you can collect these points as a thank you from us, and use these points to purchase items from any of the merchant shops within the system.

Splashpoints are so much more than what is described above but it would take up several pages to explain it all. I will try to get Rich on a teleconference for all of the MTP members so you can hear exactly what the future of splash points are.

O.k. now that I have taken up so much of your time already (sorry I just feel really strongly about both A.R.E and SplashPoints). Here are the current contest standings:

1st Place     Sean DeHoney with 10 referrals

2nd Place    Jorge Alberto with 6 referrals

3rd Place    Tied between Kenneth Kraakstad and Pedro Sardinha with three referrals each.

4th Place     Tie between to many to list with 1 referral each.
