Well we are off to a good start; the current contest positions are below. As you can see there is still some openings in the top ten but a lot can happen in two weeks. Keep putting your MTP links out there and you just may be one of the prizewinners.

I have been asked the same two questions since last nights email so I thought I would address them here.

The first question is about prize number two. An Apprentice membership ate AdsenseRealEstate.  The question being why would a trafficexchange owner suggest using an adsense related product?

If you don’t already know let me clarify one thing adsense and traffic exchanges don’t mix.  If you have adsense on your pages in the traffic exchanges remove them now before it is too late. Goggle frowns on getting traffic to your sites in anyway than organically and will cancel your account (without paying you) if they see clicks coming from pages that are rotated within traffic exchanges.

So then, why as a traffic exchange owner would I not only recommend A.R.E but offer a membership there as a prize?  The answer to that is simple. It’s because of the owners of A.R.E Pat Lovell and Jon Atwood. Perhaps you’ve heard of them?

Both of these guys are traffic exchange owners but more importantly they know adsense. They know how to get organic traffic to their sites, they know what works and what doesn’t and they take the time to teach you everything that you are willing to learn.

What they teach is far more beneficial then the sites they will custom design for you but when you pair those two factors together you cannot lose.

Even though these two are experts at creating organic traffic to their sites they still use traffic exchanges. The reason is traffic exchanges work and they work well if you are using them correctly. Something’s work better in traffic exchanges than with organic traffic.  But using both of these traffic sources correctly can explode your business.

Learning what Jon and Pat have to offer is invaluable information and that is why a membership to A.R.E is one of the top prizes.

The second question is about Splash Points. There seems to be some confusion on exactly what they are.

Splash Points are reward points. They are the evolution of what was once focus points. I have spoken with Richard Taylor quite a bit on the topic of splash points and his vision for what they are and will be.

The site is still in its infancy and it may not be clear though what those visions are unless you have been told about it.

Splash points are basicly an online currency of sorts.  There are two types of memberships a member’s account and a merchant’s account. The majority of users are going to be member accounts these are the free accounts you need to register in order to collect and use splash points.

As a splash points member you can receive, purchase or trade splashpoints. You can use these points to purchase products from the merchants and a number of other things from within the site.

The merchants are those members that have an online storefront that will sell products in exchange for splash points. Currently there are 25 merchants within the system that you can spend your points with. This will grow in the future but it has been limited to us 25 merchants for the time being until everything is up and running and the merchant shops are fully functioning.

The merchant shops are like paypal shops. Have you ever taken a look at the paypal shops when you were there? It lists stores and vendors that accept paypal as a payment option.

The Splashpoints shop will be similar where; you can browse merchants by category or other search criteria to find a product that you are looking for.

Merchants are also able to award splash points to their customers. This is a way of saying thank you for being a customer. At maxtrafficpro and CarnivalClicks we award splash points while surfing you can collect these points as a thank you from us, and use these points to purchase items from any of the merchant shops within the system.

Splashpoints are so much more than what is described above but it would take up several pages to explain it all. I will try to get Rich on a teleconference for all of the MTP members so you can hear exactly what the future of splash points are.

O.k. now that I have taken up so much of your time already (sorry I just feel really strongly about both A.R.E and SplashPoints). Here are the current contest standings:

1st Place     Sean DeHoney with 10 referrals

2nd Place    Jorge Alberto with 6 referrals

3rd Place    Tied between Kenneth Kraakstad and Pedro Sardinha with three referrals each.

4th Place     Tie between to many to list with 1 referral each.
